PROPOSAL ITEM NO. 3, "Electrical Equipment and Wiring Installed in Existing Control Tower," shall be revised. The unit price shall be revised from $479.00 to $979.00. The Quantity shall remain 1 job. PROPOSAL, Add a new Item No. 31, "4 -way, 2 -inch Underground Duct, furnished and installed in trench, including trenching and backfilling, per linear foot: for the unit price of $4.60 per linear foot. PROPOSAL, Add a new Item No. 32, "Cable Connections, Extra, furnished and installed, complete, each: for the unit price of $25.00 each. The Quantity shall be 19 each." PROPOSAL, Add a new Item No. 34, "Bore and clean existing duct that is silted or blocked in such manner to prevent installation of new cable. Boring and cleaning shall be done only when specifically authorized. Boring and cleaning shall be done, including labor and materials, complete, per linear foot: for the unit price of $10.00 per linear foot." SECTION 2 - INSTALLATION OF AIRPORT TRANSFORMER VAULT EQUIPMENT AND CONTROL TOWER EQUIPMENT Page 2-11 Paragraph 2-5 (b) Control Tower, the following shall be inserted: "Two (2) - rotary brightness control switches, 5 - brightness levels, for lighting on Runways 17R -35L and 8-26 shall be installed in the runway lighting control panel. The two existing defective switches shall be removed." 12. SECTION 7 - INSTALLATION OF AIRPORT ROTATING BEACON AND TOWER Page 7-9, Paragraph 7-5, (a), Airport Rotating Beacon and Tower: the following shall be inserted: "Install an auxiliary contactor in a NEMA 12 Enclosure and install a Hand/Automatic Switch in a weatherproof Box, all located at bottom of the Beacon Tower." 13. CONSTRUCTION TIME Adjust construction time by adding two hundred twenty three (223) calendar days in accordance with Paragraph 42 of the General Conditions in the Contract Documents. This additional time is for delays incurred by the Contractor in receipt of certain critical equipment and for delays caused by bad weather. Total construction time will be changed to 403 consecutive calendar days. The additional work involved with installation of,manholes, duct, cable, and related work near the intersection of Runways 17R -35L and 8-26 shall be done by the Contractor as soon as possible but only when the operation of aircraft allows the Director of Aviation to permit work within the area. This additional work will be done after the original contract work has been substantially completed, therefore it is not included In the above stated.construction time. CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 Page 3 of 4 The aforementioned changes, and work affected thereby, are subject to all contract stipulations and covenants. The Owner and the Contractor agree that there will not be an adjustment to the time allowed for completion of the project for the above listed changes, except as set forth in Item No. 13 above.
