WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock has considered bids for
the purchase of office furniture for the new Transit facility, and after due
consideration of said bids has determined that the best bid is that of Hester's
Office Center, P.O. Box 10134, Lubbock, Texas, 79408; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock finds it would be in the
lic interest to enter into a contract to purchase such furniture; NOW
REFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed
to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an agreement to be entered
into between the City of Lubbock and Hester's Office Center, for the purchase
of said office furniture. The amount of such contract is to be $18,955.03.
