BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed.
in favor of Cimarron Joint Venture Number Four, attached herewith which shall
be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of
this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully
copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 14th day of May ,1981.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS §
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK f
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration'of the sum of ONE AND NO/100
($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid
by Cimarron Joint Venture Number Four, hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON,
DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right,
title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows,
to -wit:
TRACT 1
A 20 foot underground utility easement located in Section 28, Block E-2,
Lubbock County, Texas, and lying in Lots A-4 through A-9, Sentry Park
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being further
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears N. 89055' W. a distance of 1104.89 feet
and N. 00°01' W. a distance of 20.00 feet from the Southeast corner of
Section 28, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE N. 89055' W. a distance of 40.00 feet;
THENCE N. 45002' E. a distance of 14.13 feet;
THENCE N. 00001' W. a distance of 148.72 feet;
THENCE N. 17056'55" E. a distance of 341.81 feet to a point in the Southerly
right-of-way line of Loop 289;
THENCE S. 72003'05" E. along said right-of-way line, a distance of 20.00
feet;
THENCE S. 17056'55" W. a distance of 338.65 feet;
THENCE S. 00001' E. a distance of 145.60 feet;
THENCE S. 44058' E. a distance of 14.15 feet to the Point of Beginning.
TRACT 2
A 20 foot underground utility easement being located in Section 27, Block
E-2, Lubbock County, Texas, and lying in Lots D -1D through D -1J, Sentry
Park Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being further
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears N. 89°55' W. a distance of 1104.89 feet
from the _Northeast corner of Section 27, Block E-2, Lubbock County,
Texas;
THENCE N. 89055' W. a distance of 40.00 feet;
THENCE S. 44058' E. a distance of 14.15 feet;
THENCE S. 00°01' E. a distance of 349.81 feet to a point in the North
right-of-way line of 68th Street;
THENCE N. 89°59' E., along said right-of-way line, a distance of 20.00
feet;
THENCE N. 00001' W. a distance of 439.77 feet;
THENCE N. 45°02' E. a distance of 14.13 feet to the Point of Beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the
rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the
said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR,
City of Lubbock, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it
shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to
the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
