RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Shadow Hills Addition Lots 1-187
and Tract A & B, made arrangements with W. D. Turner Construction Company
for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated
in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the
recording of the subdivision plat of Shadow Hills Addition Lots 1-187
including the following streets:
Colgate Street from its intersection with a line 8.00' West of the
West property line of North Frankford Avenue to its intersection
with a line 15.00' South of the South property line of Cornell
Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 89 of
Unit Number 2026.
Cornell Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of North
Fulton Avenue to its intersection with the East end of cul-de-sac
West of North Frankford Avenue known and designated as New Sub-
division Sub -Unit Number 90 of Unit Number 2026.
Dartmouth Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of
North Fulton Avenue to its intersection with a line 8.00' West of
the West property line of North Frankford Avenue known and designated
as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 91 of Unit Number 2026.
North Fulton Avenue from its intersection with a line 15.00' South
of the South property line of Cornell Street to its intersection
with the South Lip Line of Duke Street known and designated as New
Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 92 of Unit Number 2026.
Duke Street from its intersection with a line 35.00' North of the
North property line of Duke Street at North Gardner Avenue to its
intersection with the East end of cul-de-sac West of North Frankford
Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 93 of -
Unit Number 2026.
South 1/2 of Erskine Street from its intersection with a line
15.00' West of the West property line of North Hyden Avenue to its
intersection with the West Lip Line of North Frankford Avenue known
and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 94 of Unit Number
2026.
Emory Street from its intersection with a line 8.00' West of the
West property line of North Frankford Avenue to its intersection
with a line 15.00' North of the North property line of Emory Street
at North Fulton Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -
Unit Number 95 of Unit Number 2026.
North Fulton Avenue from its intersection with the South raw edge of
Erskine Street to its intersection with a line 15.00' North of the
North property line of Emory Street known and designated as New
Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 96 of Unit Number 2026.
North Fulton Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of
Duke Street to its intersection with the South Lip Line of Emory
Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 97 of
Unit Number 2026.
North Gardner .Avenue from its intersection with the South raw edge
of Erskine Street to its intersection with a line 35.00' North of
the North property line of Duke Street at North Gardner Avenue known
and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 98 of Unit Number
2026. .
Duke Street from its intersection with the West Lip Line of North
Gardner Avenueto its intersection with a line 45.00' North of the
North Property Line of Duke Street at North Homestead Avenue known
and .des ignated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 99 of Unit Number
2026..
North Genoa.Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of
Duke Street to its intersection with the North end of the cul-de-sac
South of Erskine Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -
Unit Number.01 of -Unit Number 2027.
North Granby Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of
Duke Street to its intersection with the South raw edge of Erskine
Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 02 of
Unit Number 2027.
North Grover Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of
Duke Street to its intersection with the North end of the cul-de-sac
South of Erskine Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -
Unit Number 03 of Unit Number 2027.
North Homestead Avenue from its intersection with the South raw edge
of Erskine Street to its Intersection with a line 45.00' North of
the North property line of Duke Street known and designated as New
Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 04 of Unit Number 2027.
North Huron Avenue from its intersection with the North end of the
cul-de-sac South of Erskine Street to its intersection with Duke
Street South of the alley North of Duke Street known and designated
as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 05 of Unit Number 2027.
Emory Street from its intersection with the West Lip Line of North
Homestead Avenue to its intersection with the East Lip Line of
North -Huron Avenue known an& designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit
Number 06 of Unit Number 2027.
Duke Street from its intersection with a line 15.00' East of the
East property line of North Hyden Avenue to its intersection with
North Huron Avenue South of the alley North of Duke Street known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 07 of Unit Number
2027.
North Hyden Avenue from its intersection with the South raw edge of
Erskine Street to.its intersection with a line 15.00' East of the
East property line of North Hyden Avenue at Duke Street known and
designated as.New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 08 of Unit Number
2027.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City
Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been in-
spected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City
specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance
1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and .the City Engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost
and to release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
