No. 11607, with Jack Cooper Construction Co., Inc. and the City of Lubbock, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. P. 0. Box 1153 Temple, Texas 76503-1153 General description of work included in original contract: The con- struction of six rapid sand filters and a 15 mgd pump station at the Municipal Water Treatment Plant, construction of 25 mgd Pump Station No. 9 and chorin- ation and electrical control building, and other related items. None WHEREAS, it is desirable to make changes in the work to be constructed under this project. THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: In consideration of the mutual advantage gained, the Owner and the Contractor agree to the changes indicated below and further agree that the amount of the contract shall be adjusted by the amount shown above. 1. Add approximately 44 square feet to the electrical control room of the chlorination and electrical control building at Pump Station No. 9. This involves a four (4) foot extension of the electrical room and includes additional forms, steel, concrete, block, fascia, roofing and other related items. Add . . . . . . . . $ 1,609.00 2. Electrical modifications including deletion of 44/0 5KV cable which is to be replaced by #4/0 15KV cable provided by the City to the Contractor and addition of concrete encasement for all new poly -vinyl -chloride (PVC) duct at the Municipal Water Treatment Plant and Pump Station No. 9 which contains 480 volt or higher voltage cables. Concrete encasement shall consist of three-inch minimum encasement around all duct to be encased with three inches minimum between multiple ducts in the same trench. Concrete shall meet the requirements of the Section: CONCRETE of the specifications with a minimum 28 day compressive strength of 3000 psi. Deduct for cable . . . . . The Owner and the Contractor agree that there will not be an adjustment to the time allowed for completion of the project for the above listed changes.
