RESOLUTION 1071 - 4/8/82
WHEREAS, the duty to appoint temporary and substitute Judges for the
Lubbock Municipal Courts of Record is placed upon the City Council of the City
of Lubbock by Vernon's Ann.Civ.St., art. 1200gg; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that temporary and substitute Judges should be
available upon short notice if required in order that the business of the
Municipal Courts of Record shall not be impeded; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to appoint the following
person a temporary and substitute Judge of the Lubbock Municipal Courts of
Record; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the following named person, who meets the requirements to serve as
a Municipal Court of Record Judge, is hereby appointed a temporary and sub-
stitute Judge of the Lubbock Municipal Courts,, -of Record:
CECIL G. PURYEAR
Said person shall serve part-time as required upon the request of the
Presiding Judge of the Lubbock Municipal Courts of Record.
