HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1103 - Addendum To Lease Agreement - LCAD - Additional 840 Sq Ft, 1001 Texas Ave - 05/13/1982DGV:CL RESOLUTION RESOLUTION 1103 - 5/13/82 Amends Reso. 961, 11/12/81 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an Addendum between the City of Lubbock and the Lubbock County Appraisal District for the lease of building space to be used to house the staff and operations of the District, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. City Attorney • • r THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LUBBOCK ADDENDUM WITNESSETH RESOLUTION 1103 — 5/13/82 Amends Reso. 961, 11/12/81 CC`�RFTA RY-TPTASU RER WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock and the Lubbock County Appraisal District have heretofore entered into an agreement for the lease of building space to be used to hodse the staff and operations of the District; and WHEREAS, the District further desires to lease additional building space for appraisal review board meetings; NOW THEREFORE, the parties to said Lease Agreement executed the 12th day of November, 1981, do hereby agree as follows: I. The City, acting by and through its duly authorized officers, does hereby lease unto the District, an additional portion of the premises situated at 1001 Texas Avenue, Lubbock County, Texas, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out. II. 1. Said additional portion shall amount to 840 square feet in the southeast portion of the second floor of said building. 2. Such area shall be made available for use by the District between the dates of June 10 and August 6 of each year for at least 41 working days. A rental fee of $9.33 per working day shall be paid by the District to the City for each working day that such area is used by the District. Payment shall be made within 30 days of the last day that the District uses such area. III. This Addendum is supplemental to said Lease Agreement executed the 12th day of November, 1981, and the terms and conditions of that agreement remain in full force and effect. IV. This Addendum shall be terminated, renewed or amended under the same terms and conditions as are applicable to the original Lease Agreement. EXECUTED this 13rt, day of Mme, 1982.
