RESOLUTION 1395 - 5/26/83
IBE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute two certification statements to the Texas State Department
of Highways and Public Transportation concerning the installation of railroad
signals and gates at the crossings of Indiana Avenue and Quaker Avenue, res-
pectively, by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, Department of Trans-
portation Nos. 014925C (Indiana Avenue) and 014922G (Quaker Avenue), attached
herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread
upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Reso-
lution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 26th day of May ,1983.

This is to certify that -CITY OF LUBBOCK approves
city/county
and accepts the project for the protection of the described
grade crossing and agrees to forward its remittance to the
Department in the approximate amount of $ 4,550.00
upon request. The exact amount is to be determined at the
time of project approval. The undersigned also agrees that
advance warning signs and pavement markings will be in
accordance with State and Federal standards at the time of
project completion.
