HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1369 - Contract B - Kerr Co - 1983 Maintenance Repair Program - 04/14/1983DGV:cl RESOLUTION RESOLUTION 1369 - 4/14/83 Bid 7315 WHEREAS, there have been unusual and unforseen weather conditions during the course of this winter, including record-breaking snows and unusually long periods of freezing weather; and WHEREAS, such weather conditions have caused damage to the City's streets, which damage presents a case of grave public necessity for repairs; and WHEREAS, such weather conditions could not have been forseen by reasonable diligent thought so that the effects of such weather conditions could have -been) included in the City of Lubbock's 1982-83 Budget; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the 1982-83 Budget so as to provide funds to make necessary emergency repairs to the City's streets; NOW THEREFORE:! BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the 1982-83 Budget of the City of Lubbock is hereby amended to provid6 funds for emergency street repairs from the following sources and in the follow- ing amounts: SOURCE AMOUNT Unallocated Revenue Sharing Entitlement 14 . . . . . . . . . . . . $214,467.00 Fund Balance --General Fund . . . . . . . . . . . $720,776.00 Copies of this amendment to the 1982-83 budget shall be filed by the City Manager or his representative with the City Secretary and the County Clerk of Lubbock County following passage of this Resolution, in accordance with the provisions of Vernon's Ann.Civ.St., art. 689a-15.
