BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock two Contracts
with Anthropological Investigative Consultants of Lubbock, Texas to conduct
a cultural resource survey for the Sanitary Sewer Main which passes through
MacKenzie State Park and for the South Road Extension of Canyon Lake No. 6,
attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council
and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a
part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 8th day of
September , 1983 by and between the City of Lubbock,
acting by and through Alan Henry, Mayor, thereunto authorized to
do so, hereinafter referred to as City and Anthropological
Investigative Consultants of Lubbock, Texas and hereinafter
referred to as A.I.C., do hereby agree as follows:
A.I.C. agrees to conduct a cultural resource survey for the
South Road Extension of Canyon Lake No. 6 in accordance with the
proposal submitted by A.I.C. which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof. A.I.C. agrees that all work will be done in
accordance with the guidelines for the National Environmental
Policy Act of 1969, the Texas Antiquities Law, and -all other
applicable federal and state laws and regulations. A.I.C. agrees
to -furnish all materials, supplies, labor and other accessories
and services to complete the survey. The survey and testing
shall be completed by October 1, 1983. The preliminary report
including field and laboratory finds and further recommendations
will be submitted to the City by November 11 1983. The final
report will be submitted to the City on or before January 1,
1984.
The City of Lubbock agrees to pay A.I.C. in accordance with
the rates on the attached fee schedule made a part hereof and a
- total amount not to exceed THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY
DOLLARS ($3,850.00) without written approval of the City.

executed this Agreement in the year and day first above written.
