RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Stonegate Addition Lots 1 through 74 made
arrangements with W.D. Turner Construction Company for the construction of
paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under
the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision
plat of Stonegate Addition including the following streets:
South 1/2 of 66th Street from its intersection with a line 7.00
feet west of the west property line of the alley west of Huron
Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Hope Avenue
known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 43 of
Unit Number 2029.
68th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Iola
Avenue to its intersection with a line 13.41 feet south of the
south property line of 68th Street at Homestead Avenue (elbow)
known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 49 of
Unit Number 2029.
69th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Home-
stead Avenue to its intersection with a line 7.00 feet east of the
east property line of the alley east of Homestead Avenue known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 50 of Unit Number 2029.
Homestead Avenue from its intersection with a line 13.41 feet south
of the south property line of 68th Street to its intersection with
a line 15.00 feet south of the south property line of 69th Street
known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 51 of Unit
Number 2029.
Hope Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 68th
Street to its intersection with a line 262:00 feet south (south
property line of Lot No. 61) known and designated as New Subdivision
Sub -Unit Number 52 of Unit Number 2029.
West 1/2 of Hope Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line
of 66th Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 68th
Street and the east 1/2 from the north lip line of 68th Street to the
alley north of 68th Street known and designated as New Subdivision
Sub -Unit Number 53 of Unit Number 2029.
East 1/2 of Hope Avenue from its intersection with the centerline of
the alley south of 66th Street to its intersection with a line the
south lip line of 66th Street known and designated as New Subdivision
Sub -Unit Number 54 of Unit Number 2029.
Huron Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of. `:68th
Street to its intersection with a line 262.00 feet south (South
property line of Lot No. 53) known and designated as New Subdivision
Sub -Unit Number 55 of Unit Number 2029.
Huron Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 66th
Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 68th Street
known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 56 of Unit
Number 2029.
Hyden Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 68th
Street to its intersection with a line 262.00 feet south (south
property line of Lot No. 38) known and designated as New Subdivision
Sub -Unit Number 57 of Unit Number 2029.
East 1/2 of Iola Avenue from its intersection with aline 7.00 feet
north of the north property line of the alley south of 66th Street
to its intersection with a line 262.00 feet south of the south lip
line of 68th Street (South property line of Lot No. 37) known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 58 of Unit Number 2029.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City Specifications and in accor-
dance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct notification of said acceptance and amount payable to the
contractor.
This resolution shbll take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
