HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1636 - Accept Paving Improvements - WD Turner - Lots 1-225 Chaparral Addition - 04/12/1984RESOLUTION 1636 - 4/12/84 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/ OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of The Chaparral Addition, Lots 1-225 made arrangements with W. D. Turner Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordi- nance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above mentioned addition including the following streets: 86th Street from its intersection with the west lip line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 21.00 feet west of Lot 200 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 94 of Unit Number 2029. 87th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Frank - ford Avenue to its intersection with a line 19.58 feet east of west property line of Lot 166 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 95 of Unit Number 2029. North 1/2 of 87th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Dover Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Chicago Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 96 of Unit Number 2029. 87th Place from its intersection with the east curb line of Frank - ford Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Dover Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 97 of Unit Number 2029. 88th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Frank - ford Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Dover Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 98 of Unit Number 2029. Frankford Avenue from its intersection with a line 7.00 feet north or north property line of Alley north of 87th Street to its inter- section with the north property line of 89th Street known and desig- nated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 99 of Unit Number 2029. Englewood Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 87th Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 87th Place known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 00 of Unit Number 2030. Englewood Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 88th Street to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet north of north property line of 89th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 01 of Unit Number 2030. RESOLUTION (Page 2) Elmwood Avenue from its intersection with a line 7.00 feet north of north property line of alley north of 87th Street to its inter- section with the north lip line of 87th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 02 of Unit Number 2030. Elmwood Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 87th place to its intersection with the north lip line of 88th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 03 of Unit Number 2030. Dover Avenue from its intersection with a line 7.00 feet north of north property line of alley north of 86th Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 86th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 04 of Unit Number 2030. West 1/2 of Dover.Avenue from its intersection with a line 19.58 feet east of west property line of Lot 166 to its intersection with a line the 15.00 feet north of north property line of 89th Street known and designated. as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 05 of Unit Number 2030. Colton Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 86th Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 87th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 06 of Unit Number 2030. West 1/2 of Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line 6.00 feet north of north property line of alley north of 86th Street to its intersection with the centerline of 87th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 07 of Unit Number 2030. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed -in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost in the amount of $2,128.55.
