HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1626 - Approve Building Use Plan -City Hall, 916 Texas Ave - 5 & 20 Year Occupancy - 03/22/1984�0 DGV:da RESOLUTION RESOLUTION 1626 - 3/22/84 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock has expressed an interest in long range planning in the utilization of City facilities; and WHEREAS, the City staff has prepared a proposed building use plan for the current City Hall at 916 Texas Avenue, including a five-year plan and a twenty-year plan for occupancy; and WHEREAS, the proposed building use plan has identified floor space for City occupancy and use for the next ten years which space is to be used exclusively by the City; and WHEREAS, the proposed building use plan has identified floor space for City occupancy and use beyond the next ten years, which space could qualify for rental at fair market value in accordance with the terms and provisions of Resolution No. 1223; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the attached building use plan for the present City Hall at 916 Texas Avenue BE and is hereby approved by the City Council and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to implement such plan; and THAT the City Manager is further authorized and directed to continue to study such matter and to make modifications in the basic plan upon demonstrated needs by departments for modifications in such building use plan.
