RESOLUTION 1623 - 3/22/84
WHEREAS, Sec. 325.74(b)(6)(0) of the Municipal Solid Waste Management
Regulations of the Texas Department of Health require the City of Lubbock
as a municipal solid waste facility operator to make an Applicant's
Statement with regard to such operation; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Manager BE and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock the Applicant's Statement
prepared pursuant to Sec. 325.74(b)(6)(0) of the Municipal Solid Waste
Management Regulations and any associated documents for submission to the
Texas Department of Health.
Passed by the City Council this 22nd day of Harch , 1984.

Gentlemen:
Submitted herein is a report, including Engineer's site plan for the
City of ,Lubbock's "Caliche Canyon” solid waste disposal site in
Lubbock -County, Texas.. The .existing site is presently operated by the
City under the Department of Health Permit No. -69 and 70. Presented
in this report are our agreements, conclusions and recommendations
pertaining to the analysis, development and operation of .this land; -
