BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the city of Lubbock is hereby
authorized and directed to execute a partial release of certain abutting
properties from any lien or cloud of title which could have been created by
the filing of Resolution No. 1615 of the City of Lubbock in the Deed of
Trust Records of Lubbock County, Texas by reason of the fact that such
abutting property will not be assessed for street improvements on Quaker
Avenue because there has been a prepaid deposit for street improvements or
such abutting property lies below the high water mark of Lake No. 90.
SECTION 2. THAT a copy of said release is annexed hereto.
Passed by the City Council this 28th day of June , 1984.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
WHEREAS, Resolution 1615 of the City of Lubbock ordered
proposed street improvements on Quaker Avenue from 82nd Street to
98th Street, which Resolution was passed on March 22, 1984, and
was recorded in Volume 884, Pages 152-154 (inclusive) of the Deed
of Trust Records of Lubbock County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock does not desire to assess a
portion of the abutting property lying parallel to such improve-
ments by reason of the fact that there has been a prepaid deposit
made with respect to such abutting property or such abutting
property lies below the high water mark of Lake No. 90; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock now desires to release such
portions of abutting property from any lien or cloud of title
which may or could have been created by the filing of record of
said Resolution No. 1615 in the Deed of Trust Records of Lubbock
County, Texas, as aforesaid; NOW THEREFORE:
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT for and in consideration of the premises as set forth
in the preamble hereof, the City of Lubbock hereby releases the
following described abutting properties from any lien or cloud of
title which may or could have been created by the passage and
recordation of said Resolution No. 1615 in Volume 884, Pages
152-154 (inclusive) of the Deed of Trust Records of Lubbock
County, Texas, by reason of the fact that there has been a
prepaid deposit made for such street improvements as regards
portions of such abutting property or portions of such abutting
property lie below the high water mark of Lake No. 90, as set
forth below, to -wit:
(1) No Assessment - Prepaid Paving
a. Lots 1, 439 449 83, 64, 1209 1219 1539 154, 185,
186 and 217, Kingsgate Addition to the City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.
b. Tracts "A", 11611, "C" and 11F", S. Mark Lovell
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas.
C. Lots 130, 162, 1619 2289 221 and 2209 Lakeridge
Country Club Estates Addition to the City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas
(2) No Assessment - Below High Water of Lake No. 90
a. BEGINNING at a point which bears South 00311311
West 3678.74 feet and South 89°57132" West 55.00
feet from the Northeast corner of Section 15,
Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE Southeasterly around a curve to the left,
said curve having a radius of 1055.00 feet, a
central angle of 18°34'561, tangent lengths of
172.59 feet and a chord distance of 340.66 feet to
a point in the East line of Section 15, Block E-2;
THENCE South 89°5713211 West a distance of 205.00
feet to a point;
THENCE North 00311311 East a distance of 336.16
feet to a point;

POINT OF BEGINNING.
b. BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Section 14,
Block E-2 and the Northwest corner of Section 17,

Section 14 a distance of 1268.16 feet to a point;
THENCE Southeasterly around a curve to the left,
said curve having a radius of 1055.00 feet, a
central angle of 15°49144", tangent lengths of
146.66 feet and a chord distance of 290.53 feet to
a point of curvature;
THENCE Southeasterly around a curve to the right,
said curve having a radius of 545.00 feet, a
central angle of 34°2414011, tangent lengths of
168.76 feet and a chord distance of 322.42 feet to
a point;
THENCE South 0°3113" West and parallel to the West
line of Section 14, a distance of 477.03 feet to a
point;
THENCE South 2054'58" West a distance of 200.25
feet to a point;
THENCE South 003113" West, a distance of 22.88
feet to a point in the South line of Section 14,
Block E-2
THENCE South 003113" West, a distance of 185.12
feet to a point of curvature;
THENCE Southwesterly around a curve to the right,
said curve having a radius of 30 feet, a central
angle of 89°57130", tangent lengths of 29.98 feet
and a chord distance of 42.41 feet to a point of
tangency;
THENCE North 89059117" West, a distance of 183.93
feet to a point in the West line of Section 17;
THENCE North 0014'17" West, a distance of 215.00
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Any liens or interests of the City of Lubbock which are not
specifically hereinabove released by the City of Lubbock with
respect to the passage and recordation of said Resolution 1615
are hereby expressly retained by the City of Lubbock.
