HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1848 - Accept Paving Improvements-Kerr Construction-Lots 9 & 10, Summer Place Addition - 10/11/1984Resolution #1848 October 11, 1984 Agenda Item #20 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Summer Place Addition Lots 9 and 10 made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on a certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Summer Place Addition Lots 9 and 10 including the following street: The North half of 34th Street from the Southwest corner of Lot No. 9; Summer Place Addition, to the West lip line of Frankford Avenue (Curb & Gutter only) Known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit No. 30 of Unit No. 2031. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accor- dance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned street be and the same are hereby accepted. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
