O. Box 2000 Lubbock, Texas 79457 Dear Gentlemen: The "agreement" apportioning an area of overlapping ETJ has been approved by a resolution of the governing body of the City of Wolfforth. Please note that the agreement does not contain much of the negotiations that occurred by and between the governing bodies and other representatives of the subject cities. Understandably, your governing body cannot bind future councils but it has been the steadfast position of the City of Wolfforth that it has been assured that the City of Lubbock does not desire to surround it but that the open area to the west, being an extension along the north and south boundary lines would be favorably endorsed by the governing body, and your planning department.
