Box 1488 Amarillo, Texas 79105 General description of work included in original contract: Improvements to Quirt Avenue from 31st Street to 37th Street including the construction of a nine -span, 972'-6" prestressed concrete overpass structure, retaining walls, concrete approach pavement, flexible at grade approach pavement and frontage roads, water and sanitary sewer utility modification and construction, storm drainage adjustments, and related items of work. None WHEREAS, it is desirable to make changes in the work to be constructed under this project. THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: In consideration of the mutual advantage gained, the Owner and the Contractor agree to the changes indicated below and further agree that the amount of the contract shall be adjusted by the amounts shown above. 1. Modify the west drilled shaft at Bent No. 4 to allow the existing 10" and 27" water lines to be straddled by two 42" diameter shafts capped with a beam to support the column above as detailed on the drawing prepared by Henningson, Durham & Richardson, Inc. attached to the March 26, 1985 letter from Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. to Heavy Highway Constructors, Inc. Add . . . . . . . . . . $ 12,018.45 CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 Page 1 of 2 The aforementioned changes and work affected thereby, are subject to all contract stipulations and convenants. The Owner and the Contractor agree that there will not be an adjust- ment to the time allowed for completion of the project for the above listed changes.
