HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1980 - Accept Paving Improvements - Kerr Construction - Lots 1-70, Brookmeade Addition - 03/21/1985LDS:clk RF.gnT.TTTT0W Resolution #1980 Agenda Item #24 March 21, 1985 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement�provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Brookmeade Addition, Lots 1-70 made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the pro- visions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above mentioned addition including the following streets: Hyden Avenue from its intersection with the south raw edge of 4th'.Street to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet northwest of southeast property line of Lot 54 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 99 of Unit Number 2030. Hyden Avenue from its intersection with a line 7.00 feet north- east of northeast property line of alley northeast of 9th Drive to its intersection with the southwest lip line of 8th Drive known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 00 of Unit Number 2031. Huron Avenue from its intersection with the northeast lip line of 8th Drive to the cul-de-sac south of 4th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 01 of Unit Number 2031. 8th Drive from its intersection with the northwest lip line of Iola Drive to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet northwest of the southeast property line of 'Lot 54 known and designated as New Sub- division Sub -Unit Number 02 of Unit Number 2031. Iola Drive from Its intersection with a line 10.00 feet northeast of northeast property line of alley northeast of 9th Drive to its intersection with a line 10.00 feet northeast of northeast property line of alley northeast of 8th Drive known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 03 of Unit Number 2031. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above :improvements on the above mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE,`RE'IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is here- by authorized to notify the Developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 21ST DAY OF MARCH. 1985.
