HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1939 - Accept Paving Improvements-Commerical Concrete-Lots 1-6, Axe-Henderson Addition - 02/14/1985LDS:clk RESOLUTION Resolution #1939 February 14, 1985 Agenda Item #20 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Axe -Henderson Addition, Lots 1 through 6 made arrangements with Commercial Concrete Construction for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above mentioned addition in- cluding the following streets: S-1/2 50th Street from its intersection with the West property line of Lot 116, Buster Long Addition to its intersection with a line 125.20 feet West of Lot 116 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 49 of Unit Number 2031. N-1/2 of 51st Street from its intersection with the West property line of Lot 116, Buster Long Addition to its in­� tersection with a line 125.20 feet West of Lot 116 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 50 of Unit Number 2931'., AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found'. to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accor- dance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is here- by authorized to notify the Developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 14TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1985.
