HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1938 - Accept Paving Improvements - Williams & Peters - L75-195, Stonegate Addition - 02/14/1985LDS:clk RESOLUTION Resolution #1938 February 14, 1985 Agenda Item #19 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Stonegate Addition, Lots 75-195 made arrangements with Williams & Peters Construction Company, Inc., for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the re- cording of the subdivision plat of the above mentioned addition including the following streets: 69th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Hope Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Homestead Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub - Unit Number 32 of Unit Number 2031. 70th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Iola Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet north of south property line of Lot 75 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 33 of Unit Number 2031. E-1/2 of Iola Avenue from its intersection with a line'31 feet south of north property line of Lot 85 to its intersection with a line 6 feet south of south property line of alley south of 70th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub - Unit Number 34 of Unit Number 2031. Hyden Avenue from its intersection with the south property line of Lot 45 to its intersection with a line 15 feet north -of south property line of Lot 75 known and designated as New Sub- division Sub -Unit Number 35 of Unit -Number 2031. Huron Avenue from its intersection with the south property line of Lot 53 to its intersection with a line 17 feet south of south property line of Lot 123 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 36 of Unit Number 2031. Hope Avenue from its intersection with the south property line of Lot 54 to its intersection with the south property line of Lot 148 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 37 of Unit Number 2031. Homestead Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet south of south property line of 69th Street to its inter- section with the south property line of Lot 173 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 38 of Unit Number 2031. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to notify the Developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council.
