BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a public park
street dedication deed concerning the Canyon Lakes Park Project attached
herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as
spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of
this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 25th day of July , 1985.

PARK STREET DEDICATION DEED
STATE OF TEXAS §
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
COMES now the City of Lubbock being the sole owner of
certain hereinafter described property, acting by and through its
undersigned Mayor hereunto duly authorized do hereby dedicate the
following described parcel of land located in the City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas as a public park street, described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears North 237.44 feet and East
1,412.00 feet from the Southwest corner of Section 4, Block
0, Lubbock County, Texas said point being the Northeast
corner of a tract of land described in Volume 1849, Page 383
of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE South 0014100" East a distance of 27.84 feet to a
point in the proposed South R.O.W. line of E. 19th St.;
THENCE North 70050'35" West along the proposed South R.O.W.
line of E. 19th St. a distance of 59.63 feet to a point,
said point being South 16056155" West 90.00 feet from the
original Southwest corner of Lot 19, Puckett Suburban Homes
Addition, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE North 73003105" West along the proposed South R.O.W.
line of E. 19th St. parallel with and 90 feet perpendicular
to the existing North R.O.W. line of E. 19th St. a distance
of 293.03 feet to a point of curvature;
THENCE along said curve to the right in a Northwesterly
direction, said curve having a radius of 490.00 feet, a
central angel of 19023'35" and a chord distance of 165.06
feet to a point, said point being in the existing South
R.O.W. line of E. 19th St.;
THENCE South 72°28104" East along the existing South R.O.W.
line of E. 19th St. a distance of 507.10 feet to the point
of BEGINNING.
SAID parcel of land is to be used as a public park street
and such dedication is hereby made to provide more commodious
access to the adjacent Canyon Lakes Park Project in order that
citizens of the City of Lubbock and the general public shall have
more convenient ingress and egress to the Canyon Lakes Park
Project area served by said public street hereby dedicated.
