RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Change Order
No. 1 adding quantities to existing contract, F.R.S. 921406, for paving
improvements between said City and Williams &,:Peters Construction Co., Inc.,
attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and
as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of
this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council on this 28th day of June, 1985•

Gentlemen: CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO F.R.S. 9214o6
WHEREAS, it is desirable to make changes in the plans and specifications
for this project, being namely Change Order No. 1.
Installation of new 8 foot chain link fence and bumper blocks at Transit
Parking Lot.
Original amount of Contract $ 321,269.98
Increased by Change Order No. 1 11,150.00
TOTAL AMOUNT OF CONTRACT 332,419.98
Construction completion date for this Change Order is extended
15 calendar days.
THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: In consideration of the mutual advantages
gained, the Owner and the Contractor agree to the change shown herein and in
the revised plans, the Owner agrees to pay the Contractor the amount of in-
crease in cash. The Contractor agrees to proceed with construction and to
adhere to applicable specifications, under the direction of the Engineer.
Furthermore, the parties agree that the original contract between the Owner
and the Contractor shall be modified to the extent herein indicated, includ-
ing two (2) attachments.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Owner and the Contractor have hereto set their
hands this 28th day of June, 1985.
