Box 4349 Lubbock, Texas 79409 Dear Dr. Cavazos: September 24, 1986 Enclosed are two copies of the proposed Lease Agreement between Texas Tech University and the City of Lubbock provid- ing for the lease of property known as the Lubbock Lake Site to Texas Tech University. The Lubbock City Council approved this Lease Agreement by Resolution 2425. This Lease Agreement is the one that has been reviewed by your General Counsel, Pat Campbell as well as other members of the Texas Tech Administration, and it is our understanding that they have concurred with this. This is also the same Lease Agreement that was given to Senator Montford on the date that several of us met with Senator Montford and Mr. Travis of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.- We epartment:We would appreciate your executing this Lease Agreement and returning one of the copies with original signatures to the City of Lubbock for our permanent files. After the Texas Tech Board of Regents has executed this, please return to my office and we will have this filed permanently in the City Secretary's Office.
