HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2701 - Accept Paving Improvements-Williams & Peters, & Hugo Reed-Cobblestone Addition - 12/17/1987JWF: dw . •• i •' � 124" 1 �1 34/ :*� ro Resolution #2701 December 17, 1987 Item #1F • ;L4 'J • • 0-64"1 I i WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Cobblestone Addition, Lots 1-59 and Tract "A" made arrangements with Williams & Peters Construction Co., Inc., and Hugo Reed Inc., and Associates, for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets and alleys dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above-mentioned addition including the following streets and alleys: Quinton Avenue from its intersection with the South lip line of 85th Street to its intersection with the North lip line of 87th Street and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 62 of Unit Number 2033. Quinton Place from the cul-de-sac South of 85th Street to its intersection with the North lip line of 86th Street and designated as New Subdivision Submit 63 of Unit Number 2033. Raleigh Avenue from the cul-de-sac South of 85th Street to its intersection with a line 24.44 feet east of east property line of Raleigh Avenue on 86th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 64 of Unit Number 2033. 86th Street from Quaker Avenue to its intersection with the East lip line of Quinton Avenue and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 65 of Unit Number 2033. 86th Street from its intersection with the West lip line of Quinton Avenue to its intersection with a line 24.44 feet east of east property line of Raleigh Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 66 of Unit Number 2033. 87th Street from the cul-de-sac West of Quaker Avenue to its intersection with a line 538 feet west of west line of Quinton Avenue South of 87th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit 67 of Unit Number 2033. Quinton Avenue from the South lip line of 87th Street to its intersection with a line 7 feet North of alley South of 87th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 68 of Unit Number 2033. NS & EW Alley paving from South lip line of 85th Street to East lip line of Quinton Avenue between Quaker Avenue and Quinton Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number A-460-99. NS & EW Alley paving from South lip line of 85th Street, theme south, thence east and west to west lip line of Quinton Avenue and East lip line of Quinton Place known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number A-461-00. NS & EW Alley paving from South lip line of 85th Street, thence east and west to west lip line of Quinton Place and East lip line of Raleigh Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number A-461-01. NS & EW Alley paving from South lip line of 85th Street, thence south, thence east between 86th Street and 87th Street to West lip line of Quinton Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number A-461-02. EW Alley paving from Quinton Avenue to Quaker Avenue between 86th Street and 87th Street and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number A-461-03. EW Alley paving from Quinton Avenue to Quaker Avenue between 87th Street and 88th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number A-461-04. EW Alley paving from Quinton Avenue to 535 feet West of Quinton Avenue between 87th Street and 88th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number A-461-05; and WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets and alleys have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the improvements on said portions of the above- mentioned streets and alleys BE and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer BE and he is hereby authorized to notify the Developer of Acceptance by the Lubbock City Council. -2- SECTI©N 2. THAT this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. Passed by the City Council this 17th day of DPcamhPr , 1987.
