RESOLUTION
WHEREAS,pursuant to Article IV, Section 5 of the Amended and Restated Bylawsof the
Market Lubbock Economic Development Corporation (the "Corporation"),the City Council
of the City of Lubbock (the "City Council"), as the Corporation's authorizing unit, has the
authorityto approveall programsand expenditures ofthe Corporation;and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the publicto approve the
program or expenditure, as proposed to the City Council by the Corporation, as set forth in
Exhibit"A" attachedhereto and incorporated herein by reference;NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the program or expenditure of the Corporation, in the amount set forth in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and incorporatedherein by reference,to be provided to LubbockRadio
Paging, Inc. d/b/a Stenocall, is hereby approved pursuant to Section 5 of the Amended and
Restated Bylaws of the Corporation.

Lubbock Radio Paging, Inc. (DBA Stenocall) is repairing damaged awnings on their property at 1515 Ave
J, located within the Downtown TIF. The repairs will include replacing damaged material to two awnings
on the exterior of the building (facade) totaling $4,735 in expenses.
The Market Lubbock, Inc. Board of Directors, on May 24, 2017, has voted to incent Lubbock Radio Paging,
Inc. with a Downtown Facade and Streetscape Grant of $2,368 upon completion of renovations, as
required in the grant agreement, at 1515 Ave J.

RESOLUTION APPROVING LUBBOCK RADIO PAGING, INC.
(DBA STENOCALL)
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of MARKET LUBBOCK ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INC., a Texas nonprofit corporation (MLI), on Wednesday,
May 24, 2017, held in conformity with the bylaws, after due notice as therein provided, a quorum
being present and acting, the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
WHEREAS, a proposal of a possible Economic Development Grant and Contract to
Lubbock Radio Paging, Inc. (dba Stenocall) was presented to members of the Board of MLI. The
terms and conditions of such Economic Development Grant and Contract, other than the normal
terms and conditions applicable to all such Economic Development Grant and Contracts by the
Corporation, are described generally as follows, to wit:
Grant Lubbock Radio Paging $2,368 towards the cost of replacing damaged material to
two awnings on the exterior of the building (facade), which totals $4,735 in expenses to their
facility located at 1515 Avenue J, Lubbock, Texas 79401.
WHEREAS, The Board of Directors of MLI finds that an Economic Development Grant
and Contract offering the incentive for providing assistance to repair the damaged awnings on their
facility meet and comply with the qualifications and purposes of the Corporation for the granting
of such Economic Development Grants and Contracts.
Upon Motion by Director, Mr. Jim Gilbreath, and Seconded by director, Ms. Kristin
Murray, it was approved,
IT WAS RESOLVED that MLI offer and, if accepted by Recipient, enter into an Economic
Grant and Contract with Lubbock Radio Paging, dba Stenocall. This Economic Development
Grant and Contact will be on the normal terms and conditions of such Downtown Grant Program
and Contract offered by MLI to existing businesses and business prospects and authorize the CEO
to enter into and negotiate Performance Agreement.
