HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2745 - Contract - TDCA - Energy Crisis Intervention - 02/11/1988Resolution #2745 February 11, 1988 Item #23 RFr,ni IITTnN BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY EOVNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Contract and all related documents during the effective dates of the Contract, by and be- tween the City of Lubbock and the Texas Department of Community Affairs for energy crisis intervention for low income persons, attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the min- utes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copies herein in detail. Contractor shall develop an Energy Crisis Program for low-income residents of the geographic area referenced in Section 3 of this contract providing assistance in the following areas: fuel/utilities delivery of fuel temporary shelter emergency repairs repair of heating units other assistance allowable in Attachment C of this contract 2. Administrative costs --salaries (including outreach/intake workers), fringe benefits, travel, equipment, supplies, audit and office space (contractual) --are limited to 6.25 percent of the grant total. Department's prior written approval for purchase or lease of equipment with acquisition cost of $300 and over is required. Approval of this budget does not constitute prior approval. Page 1 of 5
