HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2830 - Accept Provision-TDHPT Minute Order #86776-University Ave Reconstruction Project - 05/12/1988JWF:js f Resolution #2830 May 12, 1988 Item 14 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation has requested the City of Lubbock to accept the provisions of Minute Order No. 86,776 passed January 27, 1988, by the Commission (Governing Body) of said Department relating to a reconstruction project of approximately one (1) mile on University Avenue from 50th Street to 66th Street in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; and, WHEREAS, after consideration of said Minute Order No. 86,776, the City Council of the City of Lubbock finds it would be in the public interest to accept the terms of said Minute Order No. 86,776; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the City of Lubbock hereby accepts the terms of said Minute Order No. 86,776 described in the preamble of this Resolution, a copy of which is attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
