HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 3161 - Partial Paving Release - 1988 Assessment Paving Program - 07/27/1989Resolution # 3161 File And Return To July 27, 1989 Ed Sucy R_® -w I tem #22 20362 VOL3137 PmE1835 JWF:dw RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Partial Paving Release concerning certain paving units which were deleted from the 1988 Assessment Paving Program, and also to release certain abutting properties in which case no assessments were needed, attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. MCMINN, MAYOR JWF:dw PARTIAL PAVING RELEASE STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § VOL3137 PAGE186 WHEREAS, by Resolution passed by the City Council on January 12 , 1989 , determining the necessity for making certain street and alley improvements as therein designated, which Resolution was filed as a matter of record to inform the public in Volume 2998, Pages 141-143 (inclusive) of the Official Real Property Records of the County Clerk of Lubbock County, Texas, reference to which record is made for all pertinent purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock finds and determines that the liens and/or clouds against certain properties created by the filing of such resolution should be released against such abutting properties as are hereinafter described for the reasons as hereinafter stated; NOW THEREFORE: KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: 1. THAT Unit No. A-461-06, concerning alley improvements, was deleted by the City Council in its entirety after the public hearing thereon, and is hereby released and quitclaimed in its entirety. 2. The following described properties are hereby released and quitclaimed under Unit No. 2240-79 because no assessment was made against such properties after the public hearing thereon because of existing paving, to -wit: (A) ADDITION - JAMES SUBDIVISION LOT - NORTH 156.83 FEET OF LOT 1 (B) ADDITION - JAMES SUBDIVISION LOT - SOUTH 133.17 FEET OF LOT 1 (C) ADDITION - JAMES SUBDIVISION LOT - NORTH 25 FEET OF LOT 32 (D) ADDITION - JAMES SUBDIVISION LOT - SOUTH 205 FEET OF LOT 32 AND THE SOUTH 70 FEET OF THE NORTH 95 FEET OF LOT 32 3. The following described property is hereby released and quitclaimed under Unit No. 2240-79 because no assessment was made against such property after the public hearing thereon because existing and prepaid paving No. 322, to -wit: ADDITION - BREEDLOVE.
