HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 3100 - Accept Paving Improvements - Kerr, & Hugo Reed - Spur 327 Autoplex - 05/25/1989JWF:dw RESOLUTION Resolution # 3100 May 25, 1989 � Item #15 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Spur 327 Autoplex made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company and Hugo Reed & Associates, Inc., for the con- struction of paving improvements in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above mentioned addition including the following streets: Homestead Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of Spur 327 to its intersection with the north edge of pavement of 66th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit 90 of Unit Number 2033. Genoa Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of Spur 327 to its intersection with the north lip line of 63rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 91 of Unit Number 2033. Genoa Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 63rd Street to its intersection with the north edge of pavement of 66th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 92 of Unit Number 2033. 63rd Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Homestead Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Frankford Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub - Unit Number 93 of Unit Number 2033. 64th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Genoa Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Frankford Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub - Unit Number 94 of Unit Number 2033. 66th Street from its intersection with the centerline of Homestead Avenue to its intersection with a line 145 feet west of west end of radius of Frankford Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 95 of Unit Number 2033.(C&G Only) 10 foot wide valley gutter and associated concrete in drainage easement across Tract "A", Spur 327 Autoplex, from east back of curb of Homestead Avenue to west back of curb of Genoa Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 96 of Unit Number 2033; and WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets BE and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer BE and he is hereby authorized to notify the Developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council. SECTION 2. THAT this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
