HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 3323 - Amendment #3 To Grant Agreement - FAA - Crash Truck Final Payment - 03/08/1990HW:da RESOLUTION Resolution # 3323 March 8, 1.990 Item #16 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock Amendment No. 3 to a Grant Agreement between the City and the Federal Aviation Adminis- tration for Project No. 3-48-0138-06, attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Box 2000 Lubbock, TX 79457 Dear Mayor McMinn: Southwest Region Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas Fort Worth, Texas 76193-0000 Enclosed are the original and one copy of the revised Amendment No. 3 to the Grant Agreement for Project No. 3-48-0138-06 at Lubbock International. The original amendment contained a typographical error in the maximum amount of the grant. This amendment increases the maximum obligation of the United States as set forth on page 2 of the Grant Agreement from $2,913,066 to $2,933,902.80. The amendment should be accepted in the same manner as the Grant Agreement. After the Amendment has been accepted, dated, and executed, please return the original to us. C. 20590 Page 1 of 2 - Pages ' Contract No. DOT-FA86SW-8851 Lubbock International Airport Lubbock, Texas Location AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-48-0138-06 WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on be -half of the United States, and the city of Lubbock , (hereinafter 'referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 24th day of April 1986 be amended as hereinafter provided. NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH: That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part; and the Sponsor, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that the maximum obligation of the United States as set forth on Page 2 of the Grant Agreement is hereby increased from $2,913,066 to $2,933,902.80. This increase in the maximum obligation is to provide for allowable project cost overrun.
