HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 4423 - Establishes Responsibilities - CM, CA, & CS - Personnel Policies - 03/10/1994Resolution No. 4423 March 10, 1994 Item #29 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City Council is required by the City Charter to appoint certain officers of the City of Lubbock; and WHEREAS, the City Manager is required to prepare a budget and provide for the employment of all other employees of the City of Lubbock; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that it would be helpful to establish a policy with regard to the status of the employees appointed directly by the City Council with regard to City of Lubbock personnel policy, salary administration and other routine matters; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT such officers as are directly appointed by the City Council, including the City Manager, City Attorney and City Secretary shall have the benefits and responsibilities of City employment as set out in all City of Lubbock personnel policies, salary administration and other policies except such matters as may be specifically established for such officers directly by the City Council; and THAT a copy of the most recent P-2 form stating salaries and benefits for the City Manager, City Attorney and City Secretary are incorporated herein by reference for all intents and purposes.
