DBA GERMBLAST AT 1414 AVENUE J DOWNTOWN FACADE GRANT THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LUBBOCK At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of MARKET LUBBOCK ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INC., a Texas nonprofit corporation (MLI), on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, held in conformity with the bylaws, after due notice as therein provided, a quorum being present and acting, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, MLI presented to members of the Board the proposal of a possible Economic Development Grant and Contract to Infection Controls, Inc. (DBA Germblast) which is installing a new sign at their property at 1414 Ave J, located within the Downtown TIF. The scope of work will include installing a new sign on the exterior of the building (fagade) totaling $41,135 in expenses. The terms and conditions of such Economic Development Grant and Contract, other than the normal terms and conditions applicable to all such Economic Development Grant and Contracts by the Corporation, are described generally as follows, to wit: Grant for Infection Controls, Inc., a Downtown Fagade Grant for $20,568 for the project at 1414 Ave J, which is located within the Downtown TIF, once proof of payment has been submitted. WHEREAS, The Board of Directors of MLI finds that an Economic Development Grant and Contract offering the incentive for providing assistance to renovations to their property, meet and comply with the qualifications and purposes of the Corporation for the granting of such Economic Development Grants and Contracts. Upon Motion by Director, Mr. Calvin Davis and Seconded by Director, Dr. Matt Bumstead, IT WAS RESOLVED that MLI offer and, if accepted by Recipient, enter into an Economic Grant and Contract with Infection Controls, Inc., for the improvements to the building at 1414 Ave J, Lubbock, Texas. This Economic Development Grant and Contract will be on the normal terms and conditions of such Downtown Grant Program and Contract offered by MLI to existing businesses and business prospects and authorize the CEO to enter into and execute all documents related to the Economic Grant and Contract. SiGN INSTALLATION PRICING CONDITIONS Standard installation pricing has been based on the parameters outlined below: (A) When specifications call for new footings, pricing assumes 3000 PSF soil conditions. Any required breaking of surface pavement or overcoming underground obstructions, e.g. rock, ulility lines, frost, etc. will be billed as an extra after obtaining customer approval. (8, Pricing assumes building walls are adequate to support signs using standard anchoring methods. Any wall reinforcements or other spec anchoring will be billed as an extra after obtaining customer approval. ( C) Pricing Includes making electrical connections at base or poh wall attachment assuming an adequate circuit exists within 5' at time of sign installtion.
