BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Dedication Deed in connection with the
platting of Lot 1, East Lubbock Library Branch Addition, attached herewith, which shall be
spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

This is to certify that the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality of the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, is the owner of a tract of land, more particularly described as
follows:
METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION of the plat limits of Lot 1, East
Lubbock Library Branch Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas, being a portion of that 15.91 acre tract of land described in Volume
1117, Page 357 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, and being
further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a 1/2" iron rod with cap found at the Southeast corner of this
tract at the original Northeast comer of Lot 1, Ramsey Addition to the City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, as shown by the map, plat, and/or
Dedication Deed thereof recorded in Volume 1265, Page 453 of the Deed
Records of Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE S. 89010'00" W., along the North line of said Lot 1, Ramsey
Addition, a distance of 330.00 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap set for the
Southwest comer of this tract;
THENCE N. 00018'20" W., a distance of 588.09 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with
cap set in the South right-of-way line of Parkway Drive for the Northwest
comer of this tract;
THENCE N. 56024'30" E., along said South right-of-way line, a distance of
343.02 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap found at the point of curvature of a
curve to the right having a radius of 15.00 feet;
THENCE Southeasterly, along the West right-of-way line of Walnut Avenue
and said curve to the right having a central angle of 123°17'10", an arc length
of 32.29 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap found at the point of tangency of said
curve;
THENCE S. 00018'20" E., along said West right-of-way line, a distance of
610.49 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap found at the point of curvature of a
curve to the left having a radius of 330.00 feet;
THENCE Southeasterly, along said West right-of-way line and said curve to
the left having a central angle of 20°03'00", an arc length of 115.48 feet to a
3/8" iron rod found for a comer of this tract;
THENCE S. 00018'20" E., a distance of 37.15 feet to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING.
CONTAINS: 4.93 acres.
Said CITY OF LUBBOCK does hereby plat the above described property into lots,
designating streets, alleys and other public properties as thereon shown in accordance with the
attached plat, prepareby Robert L. Smith, a licensed surveyor for the State of Texas, on the
RA day of e&I bei 199$;Vanda rpved by the Planning Commission
o the City of Lubbock on the day of 6QP1Z#1W y _, 1995, and desiring
to have the said property platted and duly filed for record as required by law all as shown on the
attached plat; NOW THEREFORE
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT for and in consideration of the special benefits to the remainder of our property
said CITY OF LUBBOCK does hereby DEDICATE all the streets, alleys and other public
properties thereon shown _e d desiguiated upon said plat to the PUBLIC USE FOREVER; and by
these presents, do impress the name of Lot 1, East Lubbock Library Branch Addition to the City

of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, upon said property for the correct reference and description
thereto by lots and blocks as indicated upon the attached plant, and said CITY OF LUBBOCK
does hereby adopt the name hereinabove stated and impress the same upon said land,
incorporating said plat as a part of this dedication.
