HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 5214 - Amendment To 1995-96 ESG Action Plan - Reallocation Of Returned Funds - 07/11/1996RESOLUTION NO.5214 July 11, 1996 Item #37 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an Amendment to the 1995-96 Emergency Shelter Grant Action Plan for the reallocation of returned funds. Said Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the Council Passed by the City Council this APPROVED AS TO CONTENT: U APPROVED AS TO FORM: WMEN5 I " -- ALW.js/EMSGAP.RES ccdocs/July 1, 1996 RESOLUTION NO.5214 July 11, 1996 Item #37 CDAC RECOMMENDED FUNDING REALLOCATIONS FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT 1995-96 SUMMARIES OF PROJECTS ESG PROGRAM Operations - Women's Protective Services S 129800.00 ESG funds allocated to this project are to be utilized for operational expenses related to the Women's Protective Services Shelter. The projected number of unduplicated units expected to be served are 5,000 women and children. Homeless Prevention - Salvation Army S 6,000.00 ESG funds allocated to this project are to be utilized for homeless prevention activities to provide security deposits and first months rent assistance to individuals and families moving into transitional shelter from temporary shelters. The projected number of unduplicated units expected to be served are 25 families. TOTAL FUNDS ALLOCATED: $ 189800.00
