DIOCESE OF LUBBOCK This First Amendment (the "Amendment") to the Community Services Block Grant Agreement (the "Agreement") is by and between the City of Lubbock, a Texas municipal corporation (the "City"), and Catholic Charities, Diocese of Lubbock, a non-profit organization (the "Contractor"). RECITALS WHEREAS, the Contractor and the City executed the Agreement on February 25, 2016; and WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor hereby desire to amend the Agreement; and NOW THEREFORE, the City and the Contractor hereby amend the Agreement as follows: AMENDMENT 1. The language in Paragraph II, on page 3 of the Agreement, entitled "Time of Performance," shall be replaced with the following language: "This Contract shall commence January 1, 2016 and shall terminate March 31, 2017. The terms of this Contract and the provisions herein may be extended on a year-to-year basis during the five-year roll-over cycle, provided funds are received from TDHCA, and provided the Contractor meets its contractual obligations during the current funding year, subject to Board and Council approval and Mayor's signature. The five-year roll-over cycle is January, 2014 thru December, 2018." 2. This Amendment shall become effective upon execution by the parties. The remainder of the Agreement shall remain in full force and affect except as changed herein. THIS AMENDMENT IS EFFECTIVE ON THIS 9th DAY OF February2017.
