Home My WebLink AboutResolution - 6110 - Accept Improvements On City Streets - 11/19/1998Resolution No. 6110 Item No. 19 November 19, 1998 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PAVING RMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF CITY STREETS AS DESCRIBED BELOW: WHEREAS, The City of Lubbock awarded a contract January 8, 1998, authorizing the construction of street maintenance improvements by Williams & Peters Construction Company, Inc., on City streets; and WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the City streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed according to the approved plans and specifications; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the improvements on said portions to the City streets indicated on the attached list BE and the same are hereby accepted and the City Street Superintendent BE and he is hereby authorized to direct final payment to the Contractor in the amount of $84,774.60. SECTION 2. THAT this Resolution shall take effect in force from and after its passage.
