Said Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the City Council. Max Ince, Mayor Pro Tem A ST: Kayt ' e arnell City etary AAPVEDAST CONTENT: Richard Burdine, Interim Managing Director of Health & Community Services APPROVED AS TO FORM: City ccdocs/L.ubbockBoys-GirlsClub-Amendment.res January 31, 2000 Resolution No. 2000-R 0049 February 10, 2000 Item No. 57 AMENDMENT TO COMMUNITY SERVICE BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS AND LUBBOCK BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS This Amendment is entered into between the CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, Texas Home -rule municipal corporation, (herein called the "City") and LUBBOCK BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS , (herein called "Grantee"). WITNESSETH WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee entered into a written Agreement (the "Agreement") on February 10, 2000 , for Community Service Block Grant funding, which said Agreement is incorporated by reference; WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee wish to modify the Agreement to amend the finding amount and extend the term. NOW THEREFORE, THE PARTIES THEREFORE AGREE AS FOLLOWS: 1. The term of the Agreement shall be January 1, 1999 to December 31, 2000. 2. The funding of the Agreement shall not exceed $_10,000.00 Nor shall it exceed the remaining balance of 1999 funds $ 10,622.33 3. The scope of service of the Agreement shall be as follows: Pick Up A Kid Program, provide transportation to children in low income households to Boys & Girls Clubs. Provide a safe and educational environment for children after school while parents are at work or in training. Projected number of children to transport is 200. 4. The budget for the Agreement shall be as follows: See attachment. 5. Except for the modification made in this Amendment to the Agreement, all provisions of the Agreement shall continue in full force. 6. These modifications will become effective upon the date this Amendment is signed.
