WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the easements hereinafter described in the body
of'this Ordinance are no longer needed for easement purposes and for public use: and it Would
be in the public interest to close, vacate and abandon the same for easement purposes and for
Public use; NOW THEREFORE:
ICE IT ORDAINS D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. TI IAT the easements as hereinafter described shall BE and the same are
hereby closed. vacated and abandoned for easement purposes and for public use, such
casemenis being more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "A" & "B."
SECTION 2. TI-IAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to mark the
official maps ol'the City of Lubbock to reflect said abandonment and closing, showing the
number of this Ordinance and the date of its final passage.
SECTION 3. TI ]AT Should any section, paragraph, sentence, phrase, clause or Word
of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of this
Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
SECTION 4. T lAT the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized
and directed to cause publication of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance as an alternative
method pro% idcd by law.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.

Description for closing a portion of a Storm Water Storage and Drainage Easement previously dedicated with the
plat of Tract A, Lubbock Christian Schools Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, according
to the map, plat and/or dedication deed thereof recorded in Volume 10044, Page 243 of the Official Public Records
of Lubbock County, Texas, said portion of Storm Water Storage and Drainage Easement to be closed contains
0.3067 acres (13,360 square feet) of land being further described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point at the northeast corner of that certain portion of said Storm Water Storage and Drainage
Easement closed by City Ordinance Number 2009000107, for the southeast corner of this Storm Water Storage
and Drainage Easement closure, same being a point in the south line of a 20 foot Power Line Easement, recorded
in County Clerk's File Number 2010035889 of the Official Public Records of Lubbock County, Texas, whence
the southeast comer of the plat limits of said Tract A, Lubbock Christian Schools Addition, bears S. 000 0l' 00"
W. a distance of 188.52 feet and East 304.00 feet;
THENCE West, along the north line of said Storm Water Storage and Drainage Easement closed by City
Ordinance Number 2009000107, a distance of 271.99 feet to a point for the southwest comer of this closure;
THENCE North, at a distance of 20.00 feet pass the north line of said 20 foot Power Line Easement, continuing
for a total distance of 56.00 feet to a point for the northwest comer of this closure;
THENCE East a distance of 220.00 feet to a point of intersection in the east line of said Storm Water Storage and
Drainage Easement for the most northerly northeast comer of this closure;
THENCE South, along the east line of said Storm Water Storage and Drainage Easement, a distance of 36.00 feet
to a point of intersection in the north line of said 20 foot Power Line Easement for an ell comer of this closure;
THENCE East, along the north line of said 20 foot Power Line Easement, a distance of 52,00 feet to a point for
the most easterly northeast corner of this closure;
THENCE S. 000 01' 00" W. a distance of 20.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Bearings are relative to the
record plat of Tract A, Lubbock Christian Schools Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,

Description for closing a portion of a 20 foot Power Line Easement previously recorded in County
Clerk's File Number 2010035889 of the Official Public Records of Lubbock County, Texas, situated
within Tract A, Lubbock Christian Schools Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
according to the map, plat and/or dedication deed thereof recorded in Volume 10044, Page 243 of the
Official Public Records of Lubbock County, Texas, said portion of 20 foot Power Line Easement to be
closed contains 0.1363 acres (5,938 square feet) of land being further described by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the south line of said 20 foot Power Line Easement for the southeast comer
of this closure, same being the northeast comer of that certain portion of a Storm Water Storage and
Drainage Easement, dedicated with the plat of said Tract A, closed by City Ordinance Number
2009000107, whence the southeast comer of the plat limits of said Tract A, Lubbock Christian School
Addition, bears S. 000 01' 00" W. a distance of 188.52 feet and East 304,00 feet;
THENCE West, along the north line of said Storm Water Storage and Drainage Easement closed by
City Ordinance Number 2009000107. a distance of 296.90 feet to a point for the southwest corner of
this closure;
THENCE North a distance of 20.00 feet to a point of intersection in the north line of said 20 foot Power
Line Easement for the northwest comer of this closure;
THENCE East, along the north line of said 20 foot Power Line Easement at a distance of 244.91 feet
pass an ell comer of said Storm Water Storage and Drainage Easement, continuing for a total distance
of 296.91 feet to a point of intersection in the cast line of said Storm Water Storage and Drainage
