NO. 661 AND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES: (1) CHANGE LOTS 9, 10, 11, 12,BLOCK 1, REEDER ADDITION, AND LOTS 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, J. O. SMITH ADDITION FROM AN 11A" DISTRICT TO A HB 11 DISTRICT; (2) CHANGE LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 38, EASLEY SUBDIVISION OF ROBERTS AND McWHORTER ADDITION FROM A "G" DISTRICT TO A "J" DISTRICT; {.3) CHANGE THE SOUTH ONE-HALF {S-1/2) OF LOT 1, BLOCK 6, NELSON BROWN SUBDIVISION FROM AN 11A 11 DISTRICT TO A "J" DISTRICT; (4) CHANGE A TRACT OF LAND BEGINNING AT A POINT 85 FEET EAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BLOCK 77, ROBERTS AND McWHORTER ADDITION; THENCE NORTH 130 FEET; THENCE EAST 50 FEET; THENCE. SOUTH 130 FEET; THENCE WEST 5() FEET TO THE PLACE.OF BEGINNING, FROM AN 11A" DISTRICT TO A "J" DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the proposed changes in Zoning Districts as hereinafter made have been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recom-mendation, which recommendation was received by the City Commission and, after due consideration, be City Commission unanimously finds that making the proposed changes as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest, and, WHEREAS, all notices have been given in compliance with Section 25 of Ordinance No. 661, as well as notices provided by Article lOllf, Revised Civil Statutes, as amended, and notice was duly published on June 10, 11, 12, and 13, 1951, and the public hearing, accord'lng to said notice, was held at 2:00 P.M. on June 28, 1951, in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which timJ persons appeared, in support of the proposal and, after said hearing, it wa,s by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in substantial compliance with the proposal, THEREFORE* BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION l. THAT Ordinance No •• 661 and the Official Zoning Map BE, and the same is hereby amended as followf, to-wit: (1) Change Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, Bloc;k 1, Reeder Addition, and Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, J. 0 .. Smith Addition, from an "A" District to a "B" District_ (2) Change Lots 1 and 2, Block 38, Easley Subdivision of Roberts and McWhorter Addition, from a "G" District to a "J" District. (3) Change the South one-haH (S 1/2) of Lot 1, Block 6, Nelson Brown Subdivision, from an "A11 District to a "J" District. {4) Change a tract of land beginning at a point 85 feet East of the South- west corner of Block 77, Roberts and Me Whorter Addition; thence North 130 feet; Thence .East 50 feet; thence South 130 feet; thence West 50 feet to the place of beginning, from an 11A•1 District to a "J11 District. From and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance, said lots and tracts above referred to shall be changed to the Zoning Districts indicated and the Official Zoning Map is hereby amended in accordance herewith.
