duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Texasr .
for value received, hereby promises to pay to the bearer on the

Texas, or to the Hanover National Batik, New York City, by the

This bond is one of a series of 35 bonds, numbered consecutively
from 1 to 35 inclusive, of the denominations of One Thousand
Vollars (14l 000#00) each# aggregating Thirty-five Thousand. Dollars
0359,000#005 issued for the purpose of purchasing and extending an
r electric light and power plant in and for the City of Lubbock, under
and by virtue of the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas f
and in pursuance of an ordinance duly passed by the City Commis. on
of the City of Lubbo4ak.
IT IS F0REBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED that all acts, conditions and
things required to be done precedent to and in the issuance of this
bond, have been done properly, happened and performed in regular
and due form and time as required by law, -end that the total
indebtedness of said. City, including V is bond, does not exceed
any Constitutional or Statutory limitation..

corporate seal of said City to be hereto affixed, and this bond
