AN ORDINANCE REGULATIPC THE US OF V771CLES OF ALL KIMMs
INCLUDING WAGONS; BUGGIES, AUTOMOBILES, MOTOR VEHICL780
AND ANY AND ALL OTHER KINDS OF mICKLES TRAVELING IN OR
UPON T7E STREETS, DRIVErAYB OR ROADS OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK.
BE IT ORDATNTD BY THE CITY COUFSEL of the City of Lubbock.
Section . ,That it shall be the duty of any person per-tfng or
driving any vehicle of any kind, including"' wagons, bug-ias, auto-
mobiles, motor vehicles, and, anj and all other kinds of vehioles in
or upon t}+e streets, driveways or roads of the City of Lubbock, to
observe the following rules when upon the streets} driveways or roads
of tie city of Lubbock:
1. He shall sAways 4keep to the right hand side of the Center
line on, in and along the atreeta, driveways and'roads in said City,
and in meeting any vehicle shall pass to the right.

S. In overtaking any vehicle from the rear, he shall pass
to the left and if the person pas ing such vehicle be driving a
motor vihicle of any sort, he shall sound bell of gong before ppssing.
3. The person who receives a signal from the driver of a
motor vehiole in the manner above proveded shall drive his vehicle
to the right to near the outor edge of the street, and le ve suf-
fioient space between his vehiole and the center of t e street for
gush other vehiole to •pass him to the left. 4'.
4. No driver of any vehiole shall obatiyot the free pasi§age
of other vehiole by driving in the canter of tb a street, or by
driving or stopp&ng two abreast.
In turning a corner to the left, he shall not fail to go
to the furthereat aide of the inter section to turn, and in turning
a corner to the right, he shall not P_il to turn on th+ear akde of
the inter -section, having his motor thoroughly under control, pro-
vided each vehicle be a motor vehicle .

Upon stoppi rg, he shall park his car or other vehicle
at the oo4e at an abgle of forty-five de.,,rees from the direction•
in which he was traveling, and four feet from the nearest pzrRad
vehic&e.

shall fi kin any sum not less than five dollar® atd not none
than dollars, and each and every act of violation of this
ordinance shall be construed as a separate offense.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effsot from and after its
passes and publication as required by law.
