STATE OF TEXAS *. AND FIXING THERATETHEREFORwBEITORDAINEDBYTHECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFLUBBOCRrTEXAS-. Section 1. An annual occupation tax for the year 1916 is herebyleviedagainstever7ferson* firm or aorperation following anybusinesspcalling, trade or profession that is subject to the payment of an oc,- cupation tax under the laws of the State of Texas, and such tax soleviedshallbeinanamountequaltoonehalfthetaxsoleviedandcollectedbytheStateofTexasuponsuchbut1Re®B# calling trade or
profession, and said tax shall be due and payable in advance and
shall be oollected as is provided by law and Ordinances of the City
of Lubbock, Texas.
