AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY PERSON FROM RIDING A BICYCLE, MOTOR
BICYCLE, OR SEATING WITH ROLLER OR OTHER SKATES ON ANY SIDEWALK
IN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK AND PROVIDING A PENALTY THEREFOR,
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Lubbock,
Texas: ---
Section 1. That hereafter it shall be unlawful for any
person to ride a bicycle, or motor bicycle on or along any side-
walk within the Corporate limits of the City of Lubbock, Texas.
Section 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person to
skate with roller skates or any other kind of skates on any side-
walk within the corporate limits of the City of Lubbock, Texas.
Section 3. That any person violating any of the provisions
of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined in any am
not exceeding Twenty --five ($25. oo) Dollars.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after ite pa.seage and publication as required
by law.
Passed and approved this the 14th., day of October, A.D.1913.
