Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas: Article 1. An Ad Valorem Tax of twenty-five (250) on the one hundred dollars valuation of all real and personal property in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, is hereby levied for the year 1913 for current expenses and shall be collected as is provided by Law and the Ordinances of the City of Lubbock, Passed and approved this the 13th day of January, A D, 1913.
