RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, an Amendment to a Community Development
Funding Contract, by and between the City of Lubbock and South Plains Association of
Governments to fund 2-1-1 Information and Referral Program, and all related documents. Said
amendment is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein and
shall be included in the minutes of the City Council.

STATE OF TEXAS
CONTRACTOR OF LUBBOCK
AMENDMENT TO COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT L SBGI
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK AND
SOUTH PLAINS ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS
This amendment to Agreement is entered into this 26th day of July , 2007
between the City of Lubbock, a Texas municipal corporation (hereinafter called "the City")
and South Plains Association of Governments, a non-profit organization (hereinafter called
"Contractor").
WHEREAS, the Contractor and the City have previously entered into an Agreement
dated February 6th, 2007, (hereinafter called "the Agreement");
WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor hereby desire to amend said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, the City and the Contractor hereby agree to amend the
Agreement as follows:
1) Paragraph 1. B. 1. Of the Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
City agrees to provide Contractor assistance from Community Services Block
Grant (CSBG) funds in an additional amount not to exceed $23,606 in
addition to the $24,244 in CSBG funds for the Information & Referral
Program previously granted in the Agreement and in return for Contractor
performing the activities set forth in this Contract as consideration for said
funds.
2) Paragraph I. B. 2. 2nd paragraph. of the Agreement as follows:
The funds shall be disbursed in the amounts and at the time the funds are
disbursed to the City by the State of Texas. The City is not responsible for
any amounts not distributed by the State of Texas. CSBG funds shall be
disbursed in the amount and at the time funds are disbursed to the City by the
State of Texas. The State of Texas has currently disbursed seventy-five
percent (75%) of the total amount of CSBG Funds to the City. Therefore, the
City shall currently disburse $47,850 in CSBG funds to the Contractor and
will notify the contractor as other funds are released.
4) This amendment to the Agreement shall be effective upon execution. The
Remainder of the Agreement shall remain in full force and affect except as
changed herein.
Executed the 26th of July , 2007 as first written as affected as provided herein.
