RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the Airport Director was promoted to the position of Assistant City
Manager for Transportation and Public Works in July 2006, and has assumed additional
responsibilities for Engineering, Solid Waste, Streets Maintenance, and Traffic
Engineering; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director was promoted to the position of
Assistant City Manager for Community Services in July 2006, and has assumed
responsibilities for Parks and Recreation, Cemetery, Libraries, Health Department, Civic
Facilities, and Community Development; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Business Development was promoted to the position
of Assistant City Manager for Development Services, and has assumed additional
responsibilities for Downtown Development, GIS and Mapping, Building Inspection, and
Planning; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
1. THAT the Assistant City Manager for Transportation & Public Works
shall be paid an annual salary of $119, 250.00, commensurate with his
new responsibilities, and that this salary shall be effective as of the
date hereof; and
2. THAT the Assistant City Manager for Community Services shall be
paid an annual salary of $115,875.00, commensurate with his new
responsibilities, and that this salary shall be effective as of the date
hereof; and
3. THAT the Assistant City Manager for Development Services shall be
paid an annual salary of $109,125.00, commensurate with his new
responsibilities, and that this salary shall be effective as of the date
hereof.
