A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
DISSOLVING THE VINTAGE TOWNSHIP PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT CREATED PURSUANT TO CITY RESOLUTION NO..
2005-RO590 ON DECEMBER 15, 2005
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock, Texas (the "City") is authorized under the
Public Improvement District Assessment Act, Chapter 372, Texas Local Government
Code, as amended (the "Act") to dissolve a public improvement district previously
created pursuant to the Act;
WHEREAS, Stellar Land Company, Ltd. and Vintage Land Company, Ltd.
submitted and filed with the City Secretary of the City that certain Petition for the
Dissolution of Vintage Township Public Improvement District Created Pursuant to City
Resolution No. 2005-RO590 on December 15, 2005, as amended on February 24, 2006 by
Resolution No. 2006 -ROI OO (the "Dissolution Petition") requesting the dissolution of the
existing Vintage Township Public Improvement District (the "District"), the boundaries
of which are set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto (the real property located within the
District shall be referred to as the "Land");
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City (the "City Council") received the
Petition signed by the owners of more than 50% of the appraised value of the taxable real
property and more than 50% of the area of all taxable real property within the District,
and found that the Petition complied with the Act and that the City Council was
authorized to consider the dissolution of the District;
WHEREAS, no indebtedness to pay for the public improvements contemplated
for the District has been incurred by the City;
WHEREAS, the petitioners submitted the Dissolution Petition in order to request
that the City Council dissolve the existing District and create a new public improvement
district under the Act encompassing the Land that provides for public improvement
projects not included in the original or amended petition requesting the creation of the
District or the City Council's resolutions establishing the District;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the dissolution of the
District in order that a new public improvement district encompassing the Land may be
created is necessary for the efficient and effective development of the Vintage Township
Residential Community;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to dissolve the District;
WHEREAS, after providing all notices required by the Act, the City Council on
the date hereof conducted a public hearing on the advisability of dissolving the District;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council adjourned and closed such public hearing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LUBBOCK, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Findings. The findings set forth in the preamble of this Resolution
are hereby found to be true and correct and are incorporated in the body of this
Resolution as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. Boundaries. The boundaries of the District are set forth in
Exhibit A.
Section 3. Advisability of District Dissolution. It is advisable to dissolve the
District in order that a new public improvement district may be created for the Vintage
Township Residential Community.
Section 4. District Dissolved. The Vintage Township Public Improvement
District created pursuant to City Resolution No. 2005-RO590 on December 15, 2005, as
amended on February 24, 2006 by Resolution No. 2006-RO100, is hereby dissolved.
Section 5. Notice of District Dissolution. The City's staff is directed to give
notice of the dissolution of the District by publishing a copy of this Resolution once in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City.
Section 6. Effective Immediatel . This Resolution shall take effect
immediately from and after its passage and it is accordingly so resolved.
