(RJN) entered into the Agreement dated June 14, 2007 for Professional Engineering services for Video Inspection of Storm Sewers, as described therein. WHEREAS, during the video inspection of selected storm sewers, many of the sewers were found to contain large amounts of dirt and debris that prevented the full inspection and also reduces the capacity of the storm system to transport runoff. WHEREAS, to facilitate the inspection of the storm sewer system and improve management of storm water runoff, the City of Lubbock desires to amend the Scope of Services to authorize cleaning of the storm system. The authorized services shall be in accordance with Section VII of Attachment A of the June 14, 2007 Agreement. The sewer segments to be included in the additional cleaning services are presented in Exhibit A of this Amendment. The additional compensation to be included in this Amendment No. 1 is $603,530 which increases the total authorized contract amount to $1,298,750. A breakdown of the cost is as follows: Original Contract Amount $695,220 Additional Cleaning Amount 603,530 Total Revised Contract $1,298,750 THEREFORE, the City of Lubbock and RJN Group, Inc. agree to supplement the Agreement in the following particulars: 1. RJN Group, Inc. agrees to perform the Professional Engineering Services described in the original Agreement and this Amendment. 2. The maximum cost not -to -exceed value of the Agreement is increased to $1,298,750. The City of Lubbock agrees to pay, and RJN agrees to accept as compensation for the additional sewer cleaning in accordance with Exhibit A of this Amendment and Attachment C of the June 14, 2007 Agreement. 4. All other provisions of the Agreement entered on June 14, 2007 shall remain in full force and effect, except as amended here. All obligations of the City of Lubbock and RJN Group, Inc. as specified in the Agreement shall apply to this amendment.
