Catholic Family Srvs-Self Sufficiency Prog.res.09 07.09 Resolution No. 2009-80167 STATE OF TEXAS CONTRACTOR OF LUBBOCK AMENDMENT TO COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK AND CATHOLIC FAMILY SERVICES This amendment to Agreement is entered into this 27th day of April , 2009 between the City of Lubbock, a Texas municipal corporation (hereinafter called "the City") and Catholic Family Services, a non-profit organization (hereinafter called "Contractor"). WHEREAS, the Contractor and the City have previously entered into an Agreement dated January 22, 2009, (hereinafter called "the Agreement"); WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor hereby desire to amend said agreement. NOW THEREFORE, the City and the Contractor hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: I) Paragraph I. B. 1. of the Agreement as follows: City agrees to provide contractor assistance from Community Services Block Grant funds in an amount not to exceed $3827 for direct client services in the form of rent in addition to the $235,424 previously approved for the Self Sufficiency Program. 1) Paragraph I. B. 2. 2nd paragraph. of the Agreement as follows: The funds shall be disbursed in the amounts and at the time the funds are disbursed to the City by the State of Texas. The City is not responsible for any amounts not distributed by the State of Texas. Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds shall be disbursed in the amount and at the time funds are disbursed to the City by the State of Texas. The State of Texas has made available an additional 17%Q of funds in addition to the 25% previously granted in the agreement. Therefore, the City shall disburse up to forty-two percent (42%) of the total amount of funds or $98,878 in CSBG funds to the contractor. 4) This amendment to the Agreement shall be effective upon execution. The Remainder of the Agreement shall remain in full force and affect except as changed herein.
